Freedom Makeup London is another brand under Revolution Makeup. They are cruelty free and their motto is 'Free to Create'. Basically, they produce makeup that is a bit more daring and for people that want to step outside of their comfort zone.
Today I will be reviewing their Far Away Galaxy Lip Collection which features 5 lipsticks in the most ridiculous shades - gold, blue, grey, white and silver. I was intrigued, to say the least. The main reason why I bought this Lip Collection is the white shade so I can use it as cream eyeliner and for the price of £5 I knew I have nothing to lose.
Space Luxe
The Sith
Far away
Sky-Walker
Storm-Trooper
All the lipsticks are the same super soft texture. They feel a bit too creamy and slippy and I couldn't get and even application with most of them. The colour payoff is pretty amazing for a £1 lipstick, but I don't think they will last longer than 2 hours.
My favourites are Far Away and Space Luxe even though I would only wear them on Halloween or any other fancy dress party. I think Storm-Trooper is a total failure, very patchy and almost impossible to build up.
Anyhow, I think they are a great addition to my makeup collection and will allow me to play with colours and create some crazy looks in the future! #whynot
Space Luxe looks AMAZING on you! I really wanted Sky Walker to be a good replacement for the silver Barry M lipstick I used to have but so far... no dice :(
