Collab: My Favourite Highlighters

There are a few makeup trends hopping around the blogging community and Instagram (have you heard of non-touring, what the hell?), but my favourite so far is highlighting!

The definition of highlighting is to draw attention to  a specific area. Basically, you want to highlight all the parts of your face and body where the sunlight would hit it naturally - bridge of the nose, cheekbones, cupids bow, brow bone and a bit on the forehead. Highlighting creates the oh-so-loved dewy look and makes you look fresh and awake.

There are so many products out there in the market and it can be a bit overwhelming to chose the right one. However, feat not my friend, I’m here to help! Today I will share my favourite budget highlighters with you.

We will kick this off with my most recent purchase – Sleek palette in Solstice. I saw Jeffree Star rave about it a few weeks ago and had to get it! It’s just £9,99 and you get 4 different highlighters. They all are super pigmented and look freaking amazing on the skin. Also, can we appreciate this packaging for a bit?

If you don’t need more than one highlighter and you like just a simple little sheen go for Makeup Revolution Radiant Light in Glow. You get a lot of product in this one for the price of £5. It’s a very settle peachy colour and looks super natural.

I couldn’t leave this one out of the post - I Love Makeup Blushing Hearts highlighter in Goddess of Love. It has a really nice pearl-shell undertone so it shines in three different colours when applied. I love the gimmicky shape of the actual highlighter as well and the price tag of £4,99.

Highlighting goes hand in hand with contouring and my fellow blogger Ana Alyssa shared her favourite contouring products here. Check her Twitter, Instagram and Facebook too! Go and show her some love!
