The Body Shop VIP event

My life has been so busy lately. So many events to attend, blog posts to write, but I ain't mad! Here is another review of another one of my events.

I was invited to attend The Body Shop VIP event. Now, I don't shop in The Body Shop as much as I would like to, so I couldn't let this opportunity pass. They were showcasing some of their newest makeup products and we got 30% off everything in store that evening. I just wish pay day came sooner.

Their lovely makeup artist Aaron did a quick natural makeup demo using their cruelty free makeup range. He was showcasing some amazing new additions too like the fibre mascara that comes in blue as well! Yes, I said blue. We also could choose between two different goodie bags. Of course, I went for the one with makeup in it. I got their Volumising mascara, a few oil samples and a purple eyeliner.

I knew I had to have the new fibre mascara as well as their Down To Earth palette which I know Wayne Goss has raved about quite a lot. At this point I thought I was done. Oh boy I was wrong.

The Body Shop now offer customisable stickers for your body butters. You can choose whichever sticker you want and add up to 10 characters. It can be either your name or nickname or whatever you want! I went with Martuzzy which is my first ever email address. Don't ask me why, but we were talking about them a few days and had a really good laugh. So I thought it's appropriate to go with that rather than just plane and boring Marta. As my Peach Body Butter was running out, I needed a replacement. I absolutely love the peach scent and as it was in sale, it just made sense. Call me a Peachy Goddess from now on.

I am truly inspired to go back and try more of their products. All the staff at the Cabot Circus store are so lovely, easy to chat to and very knowledgable. Thank you very much The Body Shop for this invitation and I can't wait to attend more of your events.
