January Favourites

I usually do Favourites videos on my YouTube channel, but I fancied a change and decided to do it on the blog.

January has been a very long month for me. The weather has been miserable, pay day seemed to be pretty much unreachable and at the end of the month I managed to get ill as well. Not the greatest way to start 2018, but I've survived. Even though, January is literally the most depressing month of the year, I managed to make some cool memories as well as find some favourites.

In January I really wanted to sparkle. Almost every day I used bareMinerals True Gold pigment either all over my eyelids for a little bit of shimmer or really heavily packed around my inner corner. I felt like it instantly made any look much more interesting. Not to mention how many compliments I get whenever I wear it.

My friend Georgia won a Nip & Fab giveaway a few months back. As January is probably the poorest month ever, I asked her if I could try a few of the Nip & Fab items she got. I instantly fell in love with their Blush and Contouring palettes. They blend out so smoothly, the powders themselves are really creamy. I really love the blusher shades as well, they are not too pick and not too sparkly.

In addition to Nip & Fab palettes, I've been loving bareMinerals palette which was sadly limited edition. It has my all time favourite Invisible Bronze bronzer as well as a couple of blusher and highlighter options. This makes it the perfect travel palette. Also, the packaging is absolutely stunning.

As you might know I'm not a massive foundation gyal, but since December was so stressful and full of crappy food, my skin has clearly suffered. I fancied a little bit more of a coverage, but still a natural look. No wonder I kept reaching for my Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation. If you like a natural finish, but with a little bit more coverage, this is the foundation for you. It gives the most flawless complexion without looking cakey or feeling heavy.

One of my NY resolutions is to take up yoga. To start off I decided to do 30 day Challenge with Adrienne. I can't tell you enough how amazing yoga makes me feel. I'm nearly done with the challenge, so a full blog post on my experience will follow soon.

This year I wanted to step up my game with YouTube and blog, so I created a Bullet Journal set up perfect for a creator. Here is a video of my Bullet Journal setup. I find bullet journaling so satisfying and therapeutical at the same time. It motivates me, makes me want to grow, do better and bigger.

I hope you liked this post. What are your January favourites?
